Michelle Shaman

A native of California, I have been personally and professionally investing in real estate in California, Mexico, and Hawaii for over twenty years. From 1989 to 2001, I was the Manager of Information Technologies and a member of the Corporate Management Committee of ETI, a division of Emerson Electric (EMR), a Fortune 100 company. As founder and CEO of ICIT, LLC in 2003, I was involved in establishing private equity programs for land development projects in California.

I have worked with top-rated self–directed IRA companies, (such as Charles Schwab, PENSCO, Entrust, and FISERV) to enable alternative investments for my clients’ portfolios. I served as managing member of several private limited liability companies in which ICIT, LLC invests capital for Land Development Projects. As the founding Managing Director and the CEO of ICIT, LLC, an investment company specializing in alternative investments and private equity in real estate and land development.

I believe in safe, secure and predictable benefits of Land Banking and I’ve seen first-hand how you can reap tremendous returns as an owner of California land.

I also believe in building a viable community, so I’m actively involved and support several charitable organizations and I am frequently a guest speaker for several investment groups throughout California. I reside in Danville California with my two daughters and I am a licensed pilot that enjoys golf and travel.

Darcie Newton

As a student of James Smith, Darcie decided to pursue a career in real estate after attending the first M5 in Las Vegas. Darcie has been a successful real estate investor and wealth-builder for over ten years. In that time, she has contributed to numerous networks and has had nationwide speaking engagements about her nationwide company that helps real estate investors maximize the cash flow they receive from their residential investments.

Darcie has helped many investors achieve their wealth goals through investing in real estate. Always vigilant for creative strategies to help investors, she has started several companies aimed at helping investors increase their profitability. Her first company, Open Door Properties brought out of state real estate investments directly to her California investors. Her second company, National Chattel Experts has grown into the front-running, nationwide residential cost-segregation appraisal service, with a network of over 12 affiliate appraisers in the hottest residential markets across the country. With National Chattel Experts she brought a strategy once thought only for the commercial investors to residential investors and educated them on how they could take full, legal advantage of the current tax code to increase cash flow.

Most recently, Darcie learned about the financial strategy of self directing retirement accounts and realized this too is an underutilized investing strategy. Darcie is thrilled to be partnering with Michelle to educate investors about the long term benefits of acquiring nontraditional assets with retirement funds and is delighted that she can once again help individuals and families achieve their wealth goals through real estate.
